Summer Children’s Art Exhibition & Creative Workshop at SeeLab Scheveningen

Join us for a joyful afternoon celebrating children’s creativity at the very first up2art4kids Children’s Art Exhibition hosted at SeeLab Scheveningen.

Young artists have spent the past months exploring painting, sculpture, collage and mixed-media techniques. This exhibition showcases their imagination, creativity and unique artistic voices in a professional exhibition space.

In addition to the exhibition, children are invited to take part in a fun, hands-on creative workshop where they can create their own artwork inspired by the seaside surroundings of Scheveningen.

This event is perfect for families, friends and anyone who enjoys art and wants to support young creative talent.

About the Programme

Ilona Noworacka presents Young Artists by the Sea, the first children’s art exhibition by up2art4kids at See Lab Scheveningen. The exhibition celebrates children’s creativity through original mixed-media artworks inspired by nature, the sea and imagination. Alongside the exhibition, visitors are invited to participate in an interactive creative workshop, encouraging families to experience art together.

As both an artist and educator, Ilona believes that every child has a unique creative voice that deserves to be seen and valued. Through up2art4kids, she combines contemporary art practices with playful experimentation, introducing children to a wide range of artistic techniques, including painting, sculpture, mosaic, mixed media and installation. Her educational approach combines creativity, artistic technique and personal expression, helping children develop confidence, independent thinking and the skills to create meaningful artworks they are proud of.

Her artistic background strongly shapes her educational practice. Children are introduced to the work of renowned artists while developing their own visual language through hands-on exploration. The exhibition reflects this philosophy by showcasing authentic artworks created by young participants, demonstrating that children’s artistic expression can be both meaningful and inspiring.

The project aims to strengthen the connection between contemporary art, education and the local community. By bringing children’s artwork into a professional cultural venue such as See Lab, Ilona creates an opportunity for young artists to experience the value of exhibiting their work in a public space while inviting visitors of all ages to celebrate creativity together.
